Goooo Thursday!

This has been one of the fastest moving weeks of my life. I guess working from home on Monday helped speed things up. I can hanrdly believe the wekeend is nearly upon us again!
This Saturday ONLY
featuring KZ's "ROCK EM AND SOCK EM" (My wrastling alter-ego ) which will be in full form at A and J's party!
I still have to put a few things together- to make the costume complete!

Last night I hit Annie's house, and then after a large bottle of wine and spliff we headed to Ted's. C met us there as did a new male friend of Annies (insert girly OOOOooooo sound here). Twas a fun night out, but I was exhausted and am feeling even more so today.
Off to bathe and then MEXICAN dinner date with Fio and Ro!

I got the Cold Shoulder this morning.

No, like literally....
It was nice.

Ok so I have trouble sleeping. I am mostly always hot, and all I wish for is a snow/hail storm in my bedroom. But this morning I awoke to CDawgs's back to me with a lovely chilly shoulder to rest/cool off my hot head on before getting up.

I feel 100% refreshed!
Hellooo Tuesday!

What is it with Summertime and the most heinous movies coming out?

Hey, I'm so movie-snob. I like great movies, but I also admit to enjoying some good ol' fashioned chessy comedy too.

But WTF is this?

Ok Ok, IF YOU HAD TO.... Would you rather sit through-

By me some peanuts and crackerjacks

So yesterday was our rwork afternoon outing to the ballgame.
I dont' thinkI remember ever going to a JAYS game, maybe when I was a kid, but certainly not anytime lately.

It was a beatuiful day and my crew found a great spot at the back, sans sun. (oh, my irish skin)
Which is prolly why this picture of mark is so dark.

A seventeen year old denied me of my beer privaledges, due to the fact that my "driver's licence" is expired. (I dont drive- seems its an automatic fail if you hit another car during your roadtest)
Anywho my question is---WTF is that sticker on the dang licence saying VALID PHOTO ID ONLY, then?
Thankfully, that just meant that I could not physically go to the "bar" and order for myself.

After some beers, not paying attention to the game, realizing that the cartoon image of player Vernon Wells looks like a Fat Albert character- we were off to the BAR.

Saw my ex ex ex ex's Sister working there. Sweet girl she is. Glad she's made her way to the T dot :)

Oh and my sunglasses were a big hit. Can we guess which are mine?

Insert here one picture of Vishnu (not quite ready for his headshot):

And Nina (more than ready):

Anyways, many beers, one falafel and a street car ride later, I was home.

Feel asleep with partial sunstroke / partial beer induced coma.
Corey got home around 10:30pm.
Couch for 1/2 hour.

Cant wait til tomorrow at 3pm. Done work for the weekend!

I hope its nice out one day at least - I wanna hit the ISLAND!

We celebrated our anniversary last night by eating tilapia, drinking white wine, sweating in our apt. until finally the rain came...

We changed into our swimming trunks and headed outdoors and ran about frolicking our little hearts out and then when the rain subsided, we grabbed the garden hose and sprayed one another off.

A girl who lives in our building sat on the porch, smoking and watching.

Good times.

Sex and the Shitty

Last night I went out on a date with Nina.
We ate Italian food, drank some vino tinto and walked over to Scotiabank Theatre to catch the early show- Sex and The City.
We get there exactly on time, and the only seats were in the front row.
We sat. We discussed the heinousity of where we were sitting.
We got up.
We walked out.
The sweet gal ripping tickets said they would honour ours, for the next show- 2 hours later.

So off we went to Queen Street, we found a partio and drank (more) wine.
Had a great few convos. Since we started working together it seems like we don't see each other anywhere BUT work. Good catch-up.

Anywho, 2 bottles of wine, 1 puff later- we were back at the Theatre and found mediocre seats beside a couple chicks I thought were in their twenties- Nina guesstimated 12 years of age(?!)

Ok, Ok, Ok, so the MOVIE.
Ummmmm. It was kinda good. Not great though. I mean it was about as mediocre as our seats- I'll put it that way.

Whats I learned form that experience:

1. There are a buttload of girls in Toronto who want so badly to be Sarah Jessica Parker- it made me laugh out loud a few times.

2. Nice guys always finish last (You'll see).

3. Nina can really hold her wine.
4. The steps at that theatre are tres slippery.

Off (again) for the weekend to Wats.
Ready? Nite out for friend who recent had a health scare.
Breaky w/ pops.
Baby Shower.
Go to see old friends' new baby.
Go to see old friends' newly purchased house.

Oh, and I get to drag C to everything BUT the shower.
Annnnd then it's our year and a half anni on Monday!

And It Feels So Good!

My "TGIF" mug which went missing approximately one week ago (I blame the kids over at BNN) has been FOUND.

I can drink my tea in peace now.
