Hip Hip

My throat is pretty darn sore today and I am trying to figure out if this is due to the beginnings of a sickness of some sort (strep- NOOOO) or due to the excessive amount of smoking I have been partaking in as of late.
I don't know- it's a beer thing. When I drink- I smoke. I (proudly) DO NOT smoke at work or during my weekend days (unless, of course, I am drinking on a patio). I am quite proud of this fact. I don't crave cigarettes, no matter how high stress my days are. Like I said, it's a beer thing. And this weeks amazing weather has gotten the patio gods out-forcing me everyday to join them.

*cough cough*

I have a new sleeping issue. It's too damn hot in our apt. I could sleep completely buck beside our open window and NOTHING. No breeze WHATSOEVER ....which leaves me naked, awake, and in a pool of my own sweat. (And C sleeping comfortably next to me with the comforter on).
C jimmied tour big old square fan, strapping it into the window to force a breeze in- which did help a little :) But I can already sense this is going to be a long, hot, sleepless summer.

I'm sure that there is a such thing as an A/C that you can move from one window to another EASILY?
If so, what will that set me back?
I don't want some old, power hungry machine. Just something to take the edge off a little.
Any ideas?

Windows fans from Holmes. I don't know if you can get them in Canada.

Any way, I couldn't find anything other than that.

I bought a power-sucking air conditioner from wal-mart (ugh) a couple of summers ago for $100 - it's not that bad to move and it definitely has saved my life since I live in an attic and can't deal with heat.
People sell ones on craigslist a lot for pretty cheap too, I think?
