TONIGHT!
What an excuse to have some fun!
Tonight, in Toronto's clear skies will be an eclipse.
"The partial eclipse begins at 8:43 p.m. ET, but it's not much to look at early on. Some of the sun's light is still hitting the moon, and it doesn't look dramatic until the "total" phase begins at 10:01 p.m. ET.
That's when the moon is entirely in Earth's shadow, for 50 minutes. The moon will be dusky orange-red during this time, not invisible -- because some indirect sunlight still hits it.
It's spooky looking, and the most dramatic appearance should be in mid-eclipse, 10:26 p.m."
Dooby?
